Decadent Brownies

Yields1 Serving
 2 cups Sugar
 ½ cup Melted butter
 5 Eggs
 ¼ cup Cocoa
 1 cup Whole wheat flour
 1 tsp Vanilla
 ½ cup Spelt flour
 ½ tsp Salt
 Preheat oven to 350 F.
Icing
 2 ½ cups Icing sugar
 2 tbsp Cocoa
 1 cup Nuts, chopped (optional)
 ¼ cup Melted butter
 ½ tsp Vanilla
 Enough cream to make it spreadable

Whisk the sugar and eggs together till fully combined. Set aside. Blend the melted butter, cocoa and vanilla. Add this mixture to the sugar and eggs. Combine the flours and salt. Gently stir into the wet ingredients. Pour into a 9x13 pan and bake for 20 minutes.

Beat the icing ingredients (except the nuts) and spread over brownies while still warm. Sprinkle with nuts, if that’s what makes you happy. Make yourself a fresh cup of coffee and enjoy these delicious treats.
