Organic Rye, a relative of wheat and barley, grows well in Northern Alberta and is loaded with nutrients, including magnesium, zinc and iron. A staple for the Scandinavians during the Middle Ages, it remains a popular grain in Europe. Low in gluten but high in fibre this trusty grain can be ground fresh in your own kitchen mill to make creations for family and friends. Farm to table.
